Why I’m building Morgan
Hi, I’m Kurt. I’m the developer behind Morgan.
I started building Morgan because I wanted a calmer way to manage life. I tried a lot of tools, but none felt quite right—too loud, too complex, or too detached from how people actually live. I wanted something small, considerate, and practical. Something that would make my own days easier and help my wife and me keep our promises to each other with less friction.
Morgan is my attempt to fill that gap: a personal assistant that meets you where you already are—your inbox—and supports real life: tasks, nudges, reminders, and clear follow-ups that feel human. Not clever for clever’s sake. Helpful.
What I’m aiming for
- Closer to home. No new dashboards to learn. Morgan lives in your inbox and speaks plainly.
- Human in tone. Polite, compact messages that sound like a considerate person—not a script.
- Supportive of relationships. Shared reminders and gentle prompts that reduce friction at home and at work.
- Respect first. Minimal data, sensible defaults, and no tracking pixels. You stay in control.
Who it’s for
Everyday people who want less mental load and more follow-through. If email is where you’re comfortable, you can use Morgan today—no new habits required.
Where it starts
Morgan begins in your inbox. That’s intentional. It’s the most universal, accessible place to help without getting in the way. Over time, I’ll expand thoughtfully—but only if it stays simple and respectful.
A small declaration of purpose
Morgan isn’t trying to replace people. It’s here to support them—to capture tasks, remember details, and keep threads warm so life keeps moving. If that resonates, I’d love for you to try it and tell me what works and what doesn’t.
